 In this program, Hazel Henderson and Asian Markets Sustainability Analyst Matthew McGarvey, who has lived in China, Vietnam and regularly visits Asia, discuss trends toward new values beyond Western GDP-measured economic growth. Asian economics’ models tend toward the Chinese view that “markets are good servants but bad masters.” Government rule-setting and oversight are favored and often authoritarian.
